In the midst of ancient Petoviona, the traditional Opera Night at Ptuj takes place annually, serving as one of the festival’s main events and opening the magnificent festival season. The echoes of Opera Night reach far and wide, attracting a diverse audience from Slovenia and abroad, all coming together under the wonderful scenery of Ptuj Castle. The lineup, featuring the SNG Maribor Ensemble conducted by Simon Krečič and renowned opera soloists, will include excerpts from well-known operas that never fail to enchant with their timeless beauty and grandeur. Enjoying this music under the stars promises an unforgettable experience for connoisseurs as well as lovers of operatic art.
