The Gala Evening of Slovenian Evergreens is a concert dedicated to Slovenian popular songs and other outstanding compositions from the rich treasury of Slovenian music. The songs are performed by established Slovenian singers accompanied by a large orchestra consisting of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and Big Band.
The second edition of this event, taking place in the oldest Slovenian city, will be recorded and later broadcast by RTV Slovenia.

The Od5 Kvartet vocal group, comprising four female singers, enriches the youth music scene with covers of popular songs as well as original compositions. They won numerous international singing competitions (International Music Festival FeNS, Music Festival Panonia, Razigrane Note (Playful Notes) International Children’s Festival (Croatia), Školjkice International Children’s Music Festival (Serbia), Angel Voice). They performed at multiple events, including Naj športnik leta (Slovenian Sportsperson of the Year) and Z glasbo do srca za dan žena (With Music to the Heart for Women’s Day), as well as at four independent concerts. Since 2022, they have been honing their skills at the Arsana Vocal School under the mentorship of Ana Delin.

LADO, the National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia, is the most famous folklore ensemble in Croatia and one of the best folklore groups in the world. It has been preserving Croatian folk heritage through folk dances and songs for seventy-five years. The dance concert will delight all lovers of folklore and Croatian folk music. LADO will present some of its most famous and popular spots, including Ladarke, its trademark. The program will include unique folk songs from Međimurje, the ‘nijemo kolo’ – silent circle dance of the Dalmatian hinterland, two-part singing and playing in the Istrian scale, and the sounds of traditional Croatian instruments, such as gajde (bagpipes), lijerica (lyra), sopila (wooden horn), and cimbalom.

The giant of the Slovenian music scene and an indispensable guest of the Arsana festival Vlado Kreslin celebrated his honorable 70th birthday last year. He will be joined by Mali bogovi (Little Gods) and Beltinška banda (Beltinci Gang), with whom he ignited a revival of ethnic music in Slovenia. The troubadour of the Pannonian plains brought the tunes of folk music and the Prekmurje dialect closer to all generations, inspiring novels, films, and other works of art with many of his songs.
Čedahuči, named the leading Slovenian folksters by the music editors of RTV Slovenia, have been enriching the local music scene for a decade with their unique songs and concerts. At the end of 2023, they marked the anniversary of their career with a grand concert at the Kino Šiška venue. Their albums have received glowing reviews from music editors and enthusiastic responses from the public. They have collaborated with established Slovenian musicians such as Rudi Bučar, Matevž Šalehar Hamo, Fed Horses, Severa Gjurin, Gal Gjurin, and others.

Saxophonist and composer Jure Pukl, a recipient of the Prešeren Fund award, is considered one of the most important figures in Slovenian jazz music. He received his education in Vienna, The Hague, and Berklee College of Music, and obtained his master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He collaborated with world-renowned jazz artists.
Pukl’s new trio features Alessandro Lanzoni on electric organ and Oleg Markov on drums. The music performed by the three internationally renowned musicians is original and encompasses elements of jazz, modern classical music, and popular music genres.

The Varaždin Vocal Ensemble (VVA) is among Croatia’s few a capella groups. On stage, they construct a simple yet enchanting audio-visual setup. Using tangible visual imagery, they conjure a unique and unforgettable (first) visit to the theatre for the little ones. The distinctive aesthetics of theatre for the youngest audiences stem from the recognition of the small child as a spectator and their aesthetic journey, aiming to unveil the world in its elemental and poetic form.

Žan Hauptman debuted to the general public in 2022 at the EMA (Slovenian Eurovision Song Contest) with the song Sledim (Following). That same year, it became the most-played track on the Val 202 station. Through his first album Finished, Not Perfect he enriched the local music scene with English songs blending jazz, soul, R&B, and pop. With his second album Blizu (Close) he unveiled a new sonic identity with compositions in Slovenian, showcased at sold-out concerts at the Cukrarna venue and Ljubljana Castle. Apart from his solo endeavours, he collaborates as an author or keyboardist with fellow Slovenian musicians, including Emkej, Leopold I., and Amaya.

With his albums Od srca od srca (1993), Gdo je čefur (1996), and Sexy Boy (1999) Magnifico established himself as an unorthodox and versatile composer and musician in the former Yugoslavia. In 2002, he won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest as an author with the song Samo ljubezen (Only Love), performed by Sestre. Albums such as Export/Import (2004), Magnification (2010), and Charlatan de Balkan (2016) significantly contributed to reaching an international audience.
Over three decades, Magnifico has left a strong mark in the Slovenian culture. He released eight music albums, three film albums and has performed at over 1,000 concerts both at home and around the world. He shared 24,000 kisses, introduced Silvija, Tivoli, and Cici Mici, and defied stereotypes with his Balkan disco hits. In December 2017, he sold out the Arena Stožice venue for the first time, repeating that feat three more times. Magnifico’s music transcends borders, offering a unique experience to audiences during live performances.

Daniel Caccia earned his master’s degree at the jazz department of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. Alongside his quartet, he performed with various bands, including Roger Cicero’s Big Band, Latvian Radio Big Band, and Sigi Feigl Big Band. He received several awards and nominations for his work (2013 – titled the best young singer by the American magazine DownBeat; 2014 – received the Croatian Porin Discography Award for Jazz Album of the Year with the HGM Orchestra; 2016 – nominated for the German Echo Award for his first solo album Lifeline).

Maj Kavšek completed his trumpet studies at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana and is currently pursuing further studies at the jazz music department of the Berlin University of Arts. In the early stages of his musical journey, he excelled in various competitions. He honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Reggie Moore, Greg Cohen, and David Friedman. As a soloist, he graced the stage multiple times with the Big Band of RTV Slovenia, and his projects are regular highlights in both the local Ljubljana and international music scenes.
The members of this vibrant young international quintet are cultivating their unique musical dialect, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of genres including classical, folk, electronic, and contemporary music, all within the framework of jazz and improvisation.

The giant of the Slovenian music scene and an indispensable guest of the Arsana festival Vlado Kreslin celebrated his honorable 70th birthday last year. The troubadour of the Pannonian plains brought the tunes of folk music and the Prekmurje dialect closer to all generations, inspiring novels, films, and other works of art with many of his songs.
Čedahuči, named the leading Slovenian folksters by the music editors of RTV Slovenia, have been enriching the local music scene for a decade with their unique songs and concerts. At the end of 2023, they marked the anniversary of their career with a grand concert at the Kino Šiška venue. Actress-musicians transport the youngest viewers into a magical realm where sound, music, rhythm, light, colours, and shapes intertwine. On stage, they construct a simple yet enchanting audio-visual setup. Using tangible visual imagery, they conjure a unique and unforgettable (first) visit to the theatre for the little ones. The distinctive aesthetics of theatre for the youngest audiences stem from the recognition of the small child as a spectator and their aesthetic journey, aiming to unveil the world in its elemental and poetic form.
The performance is aimed at preschoolers.

Žan Hauptman debuted to the general public in 2022 at the EMA (Slovenian Eurovision Song Contest) with the song Sledim (Following). That same year, it became the most-played track on the Val 202 station. Through his first album Finished, Not Perfect he enriched the local music scene with English songs blending jazz, soul, R&B, and pop. With his second album Blizu (Close) he unveiled a new sonic identity with compositions in Slovenian, showcased at sold-out concerts at the Cukrarna venue and Ljubljana Castle. Apart from his solo endeavours, he collaborates as an author or keyboardist with fellow Slovenian musicians, including Emkej, Leopold I., and Amaya.

With his albums Od srca od srca (1993), Gdo je čefur (1996), and Sexy Boy (1999) Magnifico established himself as an unorthodox and versatile composer and musician in the former Yugoslavia. In 2002, he won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest as an author with the song Samo ljubezen (Only Love), performed by Sestre. Albums such as Export/Import (2004), Magnification (2010), and Charlatan de Balkan (2016) significantly contributed to reaching an international audience.
Over three decades, Magnifico has left a strong mark in the Slovenian culture. He released eight music albums, three film albums and has performed at over 1,000 concerts both at home and around the world. He shared 24,000 kisses, introduced Silvija, Tivoli, and Cici Mici, and defied stereotypes with his Balkan disco hits. In December 2017, he sold out the Arena Stožice venue for the first time, repeating that feat three more times. Magnifico’s music transcends borders, offering a unique experience to audiences during live performances.

Daniel Caccia earned his master’s degree at the jazz department of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. Alongside his quartet, he performed with various bands, including Roger Cicero’s Big Band, Latvian Radio Big Band, and Sigi Feigl Big Band. He received several awards and nominations for his work (2013 – titled the best young singer by the American magazine DownBeat; 2014 – received the Croatian Porin Discography Award for Jazz Album of the Year with the HGM Orchestra; 2016 – nominated for the German Echo Award for his first solo album Lifeline).

Maj Kavšek completed his trumpet studies at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana and is currently pursuing further studies at the jazz music department of the Berlin University of Arts. In the early stages of his musical journey, he excelled in various competitions. He honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Reggie Moore, Greg Cohen, and David Friedman. As a soloist, he graced the stage multiple times with the Big Band of RTV Slovenia, and his projects are regular highlights in both the local Ljubljana and international music scenes.
The members of this vibrant young international quintet are cultivating their unique musical dialect, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of genres including classical, folk, electronic, and contemporary music, all within the framework of jazz and improvisation.

The Kor Chamber Choir, successfully led by Daniel Tement, has been operating within the KulTura Cultural Arts Society (KUD) in Markovci since 2011. Specializing in standalone, comprehensive concerts, the choir also engages in international and domestic competitions, as well as national and local events, occasionally participating in sacred rituals. Over the years, the choir received numerous awards in Slovenia and abroad, establishing itself as one of the highest-quality Slovenian choirs.

Together with its predecessors (Academia Philharmonicorum, Philharmonic Society, and the First Slovenian Philharmonic), the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra boasts a rich tradition, rendering it one of the oldest institutions of its kind in Europe. It brings together the finest domestic and international musicians and regularly graces the stages of the most prestigious music festivals worldwide. Demonstrating versatility, it performs a repertoire spanning from the standard orchestral works of the 18th and 19th centuries to contemporary compositions. Its development owes much to esteemed local conductors like Samo Hubad, Uroš Lajovic, and Marko Letonja, along with internationally renowned guest conductors and soloists. On this occasion, the orchestra will be conducted by Davorin Mori, one of Slovenia’s most accomplished conductors from the younger generation.

Nina Pušlar is one of the most popular Slovenian singers of all time. With her music and sparkling energy, she won the hearts of listeners, radio frequencies, and stages. Since the beginning of her career in 2005, she performed in almost every Slovenian venue, sold out Križanke twice, performed in the legendary Tivoli Hall, and recorded seven studio albums with a huge number of hits. In 2023, she became the first Slovenian performer to fill the Arena Stožice venue. Her performances, in which she collaborates with renowned Slovenian instrumentalists, are both musically and vocally exceptional. Through her songs, Nina Pušlar expresses compassion, love, and joy for life, inspiring every listener.
