HIP HOP DANCE WORKSHOP
Alja Horvat and Ana Angel have been connected for years by a love of dance and music, which has developed into friendship. Together, they have achieved excellent results in various dance disciplines in the past. As proud members of the national team, they have successfully represented Slovenia at European and world championships on several occasions. Alja dances at the Mambo Ptuj Dance Center, while Ana dances at the Pingi International Dance Club in Maribor. The mentors will conduct a hip-hop dance workshop for children, full of rhythm and fun. Through play and movement, children will develop their physical expression and sense of music. The workshop will encourage creativity, joy of dance, and cooperation among peers.

Duo Silence is one of Slovenia’s most original musical formations, comprising Primož Hladnik and Boris Benko. Their collaborations include work with renowned directors such as Tomaž Pandur, Aleksandar Popovski, Matjaž Berger, Matjaž Pograjc, and Primož Ekart. The Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra has a rich tradition that dates back to 1701. The orchestra, in its current form, was established in 1947 when the Slovenian Philharmonic was founded. HIP HOP DANCE WORKSHOP
Alja Horvat and Ana Angel have been connected for years by a love of dance and music, which has developed into friendship. Together, they have achieved excellent results in various dance disciplines in the past. As proud members of the national team, they have successfully represented Slovenia at European and world championships on several occasions. Alja dances at the Mambo Ptuj Dance Center, while Ana dances at the Pingi International Dance Club in Maribor. The mentors will conduct a hip-hop dance workshop for children, full of rhythm and fun. Through play and movement, children will develop their physical expression and sense of music. The workshop will encourage creativity, joy of dance, and cooperation among peers.

Romano Drom is one of the most prominent ensembles in contemporary Roma culture. Since its formation in 1999, the group has captivated audiences worldwide. Their music combines the centuries-old tradition of the Vlach Roma with modern influences, including Catalan rumba, Arabic and Balkan pop, percussion rhythms, and contemporary electronic elements. They sing in the original language of the Vlach Roma, and their authenticity appeals to both traditional music lovers and a wider audience. Romano Drom serves as an ambassador for the rich Roma heritage as well as for contemporary musical innovations.

SILENCE

Duo Silence is one of Slovenia’s most original musical formations, comprising Primož Hladnik and Boris Benko. They have released five studio albums and composed music for more than seventy theater, puppet, and dance performances, leaving a notable mark on contemporary performing arts. Their collaborations include work with renowned directors such as Tomaž Pandur, Aleksandar Popovski, Matjaž Berger, Matjaž Pograjc, and Primož Ekart. In 2024, they debuted “PROCES{i}”, an original theater and music performance inspired by Franz Kafka. This production left a powerful emotional and intellectual impact. Duo Silence’s artistic journey is closely linked with the legendary Laibach. The duo also composes film music, garnering recent recognition with the Vesna Award for Best Original Score for “Salvation for Beginners” in 2024.

Od5 Kvartet is a vocal group comprising four young singers dedicated to enriching the youth music scene through their performances. Their music showcases originality and creativity. The group consists of Neža Angel, Neja Gajzer, Pia Krajnc, and Neža Meglič, who perform well-known songs with a fresh perspective and also write original music. They have won several international competitions, including the FeNS International Music Festival, the Music Festival Panonia, Razigrane Note in Croatia, and Školjkice in Serbia. Since 2022, their mentor has been Ana Delin from the Arsana Vocal School.

The Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra has a rich tradition that dates back to 1701. The orchestra, in its current form, was established in 1947 when the Slovenian Philharmonic was founded. It brings together top domestic and international musicians and performs at prestigious music festivals around the world. The orchestra showcases a diverse repertoire that includes standard orchestral works from the 18th and 19th centuries, contemporary music, and compositions from earlier stylistic periods, highlighting its versatility. The orchestra’s development has been significantly influenced by esteemed local conductors such as Samo Hubad, Uroš Lajovic, and Marko Letonja, as well as internationally renowned guest conductors and soloists.
On this occasion, the orchestra will be conducted by Davorin Mori, one of Slovenia’s most accomplished younger-generation conductors. It will also feature performances by winners of multiple international competitions Marta Sesar (flute) and Manja Slak (violin).

Siddharta, one of the most influential, powerful, and beloved bands in Slovenia, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025. Since its formation in 1995, the band, led by charismatic frontman Tomi Meglič, has built a loyal, multigenerational fan base. Their debut album, “Id,” released in 1999, went platinum and laid the groundwork for their legacy. This legacy was further solidified in 2003 with a historic concert at Bežigrad Stadium, where they performed in front of 30,000 fans. Including their latest album, “X” (2024), Siddharta has released ten studio albums and has sold out numerous concerts. However, Siddharta is more than just impressive statistics; it is a phenomenon that blends rock and roll with authentic musical expression, sonic and visual creativity, and spectacle. At the upcoming 17th Arsana Festival, Siddharta will showcase their music in an acoustic version.

Infinitus was established in 2007 in the parish of St. George in Ptuj.
