The Opera Night on Panorama Hill takes place once a year in the heart of ancient Petoviona. This central event of the summer festival ensures a magnificent opening of the season. The popularity of Opera Night reaches far and wide, attracting a diverse audience that gathers under the enchanting backdrop of the Ptuj Castle. The program of the SNG Maribor ensemble, conducted by Simon Krečič and featuring renowned opera soloists, will include popular excerpts from well-known operas that never cease to fascinate with their timeless and exceptional quality. Listening to music under the stars promises an unforgettable experience for both opera enthusiasts and those who simply enjoy opera.

In case of bad weather, the event will take place on Friday, 21 July 2024, or Sunday, 23 July 2024.
